Just want to wish everyone a happy new 2009!
For me, the year ended with my last day at DHL! I spent 3 and a half years there, and it has been the most valuable job I have had so far, in terms of personal growth.
In 2 days my internet will be cut of at the flat in Leidschendam, meaning I will be moving in with my mums pretty soon. The big move is planned for the 17th of Jan, where I will move the rest of my stuff for storage with my Dad with Belgium.
No results for work in the UK yet. I have a little odd-job lined up here in the Netherlands for next week. After that, I need to have a job in UK by the end of Jan. If not, I shall be forced to find employment in Netherlands again, which will probably prevent me from moving to the UK for another 6 months. This is my biggest worry.
Next week job-hunting goes back into overdrive, though at least 10 different UK recruiters have my CV waiting for them in their mailbox when they come back from Christmas break š

Goodluck! Make sure you tell them how obsessive you are about sysadmins…this is where it would have been nice to have had a completely separate sys admin blog to show off to potential employers. š
